Rachelle Barclay Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Credit and Collections
Rachelle Barclay manages credit reconciliation for 43,000 Black Press Group Ltd. Customers
VICTORIA, BC, CANADA, September 26, 2011 /Journalism and Writing PR News/ -- Rachelle Barclay, Credit Manager for Black Press Group Ltd., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in credit and collections.
What Ms. Barclay enjoys most about her career is the opportunity it gives her to help others get their finances back on track and minimize their exposure to loss. One of her top priorities is doing what is best for both her company and client, and for the last three years, she has made the finances of publishing company, Black Press Group Ltd., her greatest concern.
As Credit Manager of Credit & Collections, she manages finances within this company's British Columbia and Alberta divisions. She works with nine staff members to reconcile all credit for Black Press, encompassing 120 papers in British Columbia and 25 papers throughout the Prairies. She deals with accounts that are more than 60 days old, among 28,000 customers in British Columbia and 15,000 in the Prairies region. Barclay provides each regional president with monthly progress reports, and ensures that each collector also has a report to monitor the monthly progression of his or her portfolio.
Ms. Barclay has led an eight-year career in the credit and collections industry, and loves her job, as well as the people with whom she works. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and has taken additional classes in risk management. Furthermore, she holds an array of industry-related certifications. She hopes to continue progressing at Black Press to become the vice president of credit in the next 10 years.
