In 2009, Tonn was promoted to VP of Marketing and Supply Chain and recognizes that although he has an Marketing background, his success in supply chain is a direct result of the great people on his team.

"It's my fundamental belief that retaining employees is ultimately every leader's responsibility and not the corporation's. People leave managers, not companies. You can have the best possible retention strategies and programs in place, but if you're not engaged with your people they're not going to be engaged and they aren't going to stay," says Tonn.
