Andrew M. McKenzie Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
Andrew M. McKenzie instructed students in communications, English literature and Shakespeare
HAMBURG, NJ, September 8, 2010 /Journalism and Writing PR News/ -- Andrew M. McKenzie, Retired Dean for Sussex County Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.
At Sussex County Community College, Mr. McKenzie taught communications, English literature and Shakespeare classes. He also offered counseling, and oversaw student services and financial aid. With 30 years of professional experience, he attributes his success to his perseverance.
Mr. McKenzie is the recipient of a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Public Address, a Master's Degree in Language Communication, and a Bachelor's Degree in Classical Languages. He serves as a trustee for the Immaculate Conception Church in Franklin, New Jersey, and volunteers his free time to local community outreach services. A Vietnam veteran, in the past, Mr. McKenzie worked in the Presidential Papers section of the manuscripts division at the Library of Congress, Washington DC. His work there included the papers of Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson.
Offering a wide range of programs and services for the promotion of successful learning, Sussex County Community College makes faculty advisors and counselors available to each student.
