Thelma L. Kobeck Named to Exclusive Membership Organization

Thelma L. Kobeck celebrates over 20 years in the education field

    KENNEDALE, TX, August 03, 2010 /Journalism and Writing PR News/ -- Thelma L. Kobeck, English Language Arts Master Teacher, Reading Specialist for the Fort Worth Independent School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

Utilizing 21 years of experience in the education field, Ms. Kobeck excels as an English Language Arts Master Teacher and Reading Specialist for the Fort Worth Independent School District. Specializing in English grammar and writing instruction as well as reading instruction, she has taught English Language Arts, reading, speech and journalism classes. Currently, she writes and revises curriculum, ensures its compliance with state and national standards and familiarizes the district's teachers with the curriculum and standards. She attributes her success to her work ethic and to the support she has received from her husband and parents.

In 2003, Ms. Kobeck received her Master of Education in Reading from Texas Wesleyan University. She attained her designation as a certified principal in 2009. She is a member of the Coalition of Reading and English Supervisors of Texas, the National Council of Teachers of English and the International Reading Association. In the future, she intends to obtain a doctorate degree, conduct research on the at-risk population of readers and help them become better readers and writers.
