Demonstrating over 15 years of professional experience, Melissa G. Iteld-Jurin specializes in education, literature and authorship. For five years she served as an adjunct professor at Touro College and is currently collaborating on a novel called "Dying to Get under the Chuppah," with Sandra Hochman, a Pulitzer Prize nominee and award-winning poet. In addition to her literary pursuits, Ms. Iteld-Jurin teaches at a local academy.
Having always maintained passion for education, Ms. Iteld-Jurin made the decision to pursue a career in teaching. She attributes her success in the field to her persistence and looks forward to having her book published in the near future. Ms. Iteld-Jurin earned a master's degree in history and education from the Teachers College of Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in history, with minors in French and dance, from Barnard College. She is a certified teacher (7th-12th) in the state of New York. Most recently, she was named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Education & Authorship.
