Samantha M. Stryker Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Samantha Stryker is the recipient of the U.S. Army's Meritorious Unit Citation
McCHORD AFB, WA, December 9, 2010 /Journalism and Writing PR News/ -- Ms. Samantha M. Stryker, Public Affairs Supervisor for the United States Department of Defense at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in military communication.
Ms. Stryker has 14 years of professional experience, including nine years of experience in her current position. As a public affairs supervisor, she has served in three combat deployments, worked with the Office of the President of the United States, members of Congress as well as local members of the City of Tumwater. In her position she facilitates media awareness, writes stories and articles, produces photographs and establishes confidence within the American Army. Ms. Stryker also manages information for the United States Department of Defense, civilians, her community and military personnel. She attributes her success to her passion, drive and military experience.
Ms. Stryker is pursuing a Master of Arts in international relations at Saint Martin's University. She holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Middle Tennessee State University, with a concentration in radio and television production. Ms. Stryker is a member of the Army Public Affairs Alumni Association and a former member of Professional Photographers of America.
She is the recipient of the Joint Service Commendation Medal, and the Army's Expeditionary and Commendation Medals. Ms. Stryker is also a two-time recipient of the Meritorious Unit Citation, given by the United States Army. In the future, she will work for the United States Army Public Affairs Center in Maryland.
