Janete Farias Weinstein to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry

LOS ANGELES, CA, December 10, 2010 /Journalism and Writing PR News/ -- Janete Farias Weinstein, Owner and General Manager of The Pet Assistant, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in pet care and journalism.
Prior to The Pet Assistant, Mrs. Weinstein traveled extensively. During that time, she was in constant search for sitters or pet boarding centers. The lack of such quality facilities prompted her to establish The Pet Assistant, a full-service pet-sitting business. For the past five years, Mrs. Weinstein has been responsible for boarding animals in her home, and providing them with holistic and spiritual care on the side.
She also works as a news director for Rede iTV (pronounced "heh-gee iTV"), a Brazilian television station which broadcasts both locally and internationally via the Internet. Combining her two passions of pets and journalism, Janete is also a creator, director and host of her own television program Conexão Animal.
In 2009, Mrs. Weinstein received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from California State University, Northridge. She is affiliated with the National Association of Professional Women, National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, Investigative Reporters and Editors, Inc., and the Society of Professional Journalists. In the future, Mrs. Weinstein hopes to expand her business via franchising, establish a sanctuary for unwanted pets, and work as an international news correspondent.
