Gayle S. Parker Named to Exclusive Membership Organization

Gayle S. Parker celebrates 30 years of professional experience

    WHISPERING PINES, NC, December 9, 2010 /Journalism and Writing PR News/ -- Gayle S. Parker, Adjunct Professor and Writer at Parker Writes, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

Ms. Parker has 30 years of professional experience, including three years of experience in her current position. Her expertise is in education, and she teaches with humor, compassion and understanding. Ms. Parker is an adjunct professor, who teaches freshman level writing courses. Recently, she worked as Vivian Jacobson's final editor for Sharing Chagall: A Memoir. Ms. Parker attributes her success to overcoming adversity.

In 1969, Ms. Parker received a Bachelor of Arts in English and education from Fairmont University. In 1972 she earned a Master of Arts in English and Education from West Virginia University. She is the former chairwoman of the Wastewater Committee and a member of AAUW. In her spare time, she volunteers with Family Promise, helping the homeless and low-income families. Ms. Parker was named Who's Who Among Teachers and in the future, intends to continue educating others.
