PORTLAND, OR, December 7, 2009 /Journalism and Writing PR News/ -- Carol Duncan Sweet, Writer, Owner and Operator of Write Here, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in creative writing.
Carol Duncan Sweet, Writer, has owned Write Here since 2006. Since then, she has offered workshops and individual coaching in creative and business writing as well as services in editing and grant writing. Ms. Sweet has published two essays in the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series and a story in "Earth Angels" published by Broadway Books. She is currently working on her novel, "Lucy's Fence." She became involved in her profession because it has been a lifelong passion. She decided to start her own business after retiring so she could spend more time helping other writers in their pursuit of creative expression through writing and to spend more time on her own writing. She attributes her success to her writing talent and to her passion for her profession.
Ms. Sweet received her Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Oregon. She is a member of the Willamette Writers' Association. In five years, Ms. Sweet hopes to have expanded her business, published her book and continued her own writing.
