Danny D. Bynum Honored by Cambridge Who's Who

Danny D. Bynum has published two novels and is working on a third

    ELDRIDGE, IA, October 16, 2009 /Journalism and Writing PR News/ -- Danny D. Bynum, Author, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in writing.

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Bynum served as an air policeman at Edwards Air Force Base in southern California. He received a Certificate of Appreciation for providing security for President L. B. Johnson during his visit to Edwards. After his discharge, Mr. Bynum went to work for the Department of the Army. Over his 27 years with the Department of the Army he received 23 awards including commendations and monetary awards. He received recognition for his service during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. During his last eight years with the Department of the Army he worked in a Joint Service position strategically storing munitions, conducting inventories and identifying items found during inventory that were in short supply. Mr. Bynum conducted briefings regarding munitions availability at Joint Service conferences.

Mr. Bynum received his associate of arts in management from Modesto Junior College and a certification in romance writing from American Writers & Artists, Inc. He is a member of the Midwest Writing Center and a 25 year member of the American Legion. He received a certificate from the governor of Iowa for literature, professionalism and volunteerism, and a plaque from the Lions Club of Eldridge, Iowa for creative writing. He has published two novels and is working on a third.
