An avid public speaker and author, Mrs. Mora co-wrote 'Body Image Disturbance in Obese Outpatients Before and After Weight Loss in Relations to Race, Gender, Binge Eating and Age of Onset of Obesity,' which appeared in the International Journal of Eating Disorders in 2002. She presented 'The Interdisciplinary Approach to the Treatment of Eating Disorders Program at Columbia University' at the International Association of Eating Disorders Professional Foundation Conference in Austria in 2002 and served as team consultant for Columbia University's wrestling team and women's track and field team.

A passion for helping others is the driving force behind Mrs. Mora's success. In 2007 she was recognized as outstanding VIP of the Year in her field by Cambridge Who's Who. She earned her Master's Degree in Nutrition and Applied Physiology from Columbia University in 1998 and her Bachelor's Degree in Law and Society, with a minor in psychology, from American University in 1995.
