Dr. Clifford received his Ph.D. in Social Work from Tulane University, his Master of Social Work from Portland State University and his Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Brigham Young University. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Employee Assistance Provider, and National Certified Addiction Counselor II. He is a member of the Employee Assistance Professional Association, the Oregon Counseling Association, the National Association of Social Workers, the American Group Psychotherapy Association, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and the National Association of Alcohol, Drug and Addiction Counselors. His work has been published in various journals and book chapters. He is a gifted presenter and trainer for schools and community agencies.
