Margaret Munnerlyn Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Book Writing and Publishing

She was honored with the Editors' Choice Award, the Award for Exemplary Performance and the Poetry Ambassador Award.

POCONO SUMMIT, PA, November 8, 2008 /Journalism and Writing PR News/ --Margaret Munnerlyn, Writer, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of book writing and publishing.

A published author, Mrs. Munnerlyn has four years of professional experience. Her books are written from the inspiration, behavior and voices of others. Writing helps to keep her perspective on life in balance and she feels exalted for having the innate quality to transpose her thoughts into words. In one of her books, Mrs. Munnerlyn discusses her mentally challenged adult daughter, and Margaret also authored a book entitled "Food for Thought." She feels that everyone has a gift, but to be able to share one's gift with others is a blessing. She attributes her success to being exposed to books as a child by her mother, Georgie Frances Moultry, her father, Peter Moultry, for being a great listener, and to the encouragement and appreciation for the arts she received from her cousin, J.T. Snead, who exposed her to art and museums at a young age.

Mrs. Munnerlyn worked as a director, translator and researcher for a play about Puerto Rican culture, and as a reading tutor for college students, as well as for grade school students. She was honored with the Editors' Choice Award, the Award for Exemplary Performance and the Poetry Ambassador Award. In addition, she was recognized by International Who's Who in Poetry. Mrs. Munnerlyn is a member of Poets International and volunteers as a reading tutor for at-risk grade school students in a special college program on Saturdays.
